New online hub gives residents a one-stop shop for workforce development programs available from many local organizations.

As we all welcome summer, the Enterprise Center, in collaboration with more than nine local partners, is welcoming our community to SummerOfSkills.com, a new online hub where everyone can find free or low-cost opportunities to build new skills and advance their professional goals.

This constantly updated website will allow residents to browse a library of opportunities from many local organizations in one free, easy-to-access place online. From technology training and creative workshops to career certifications and hands-on learning opportunities, SummerOfSkills.com aims to remove barriers to upskilling across Chattanooga by allowing residents to find programs that align with their interests and schedules.

Meeting Workforce Needs Through Access and Innovation
With a rapidly evolving job market and increasing demand for digital literacy, SummerOfSkills.com addresses a pressing need for accessible pathways into growing industries.

By curating and promoting a broad range of programs—from beginner courses to industry-specific training—this effort is helping to build a stronger, more resilient workforce for the region.

“Our community is fortunate to have many organizations that offer outstanding services, but it’s important for everyone to know about all the opportunities available to them. We built SummerOfSkills.com to serve as the starting point for anyone looking to develop professionally,” said Sammy Lowdermilk, Acting CEO and President of The Enterprise Center. “We are confident this new resource will allow even more Chattanoogans to take advantage of opportunities to upskill this summer through programs like Tech Goes Home’s Learning Agility Accelerator, CO.LAB’s Skills Accelerator, or a certification program at Chatt State.”

“We are grateful to the Enterprise Center for developing SummerOfSkills.com because it will provide opportunity and access to people across Hamilton County to the resources they need to thrive in an ever-evolving job market,” said Dr. Keri Randolph, Executive Director of Chattanooga 2.0.

A Collaborative Approach for Community Learning
SummerOfSkills.com brings together organizations across education, workforce development, public service, and the nonprofit sector to showcase the wide range of programming available throughout the summer. Partners include the Chattanooga Public Library, Chattanooga 2.0, Chattanooga State Community College, The Company Lab, Urban League of Greater Chattanooga, ChaTech Council, The Chattery, Apprenticeship Works, and Chattanooga School of Language.
